QUITO: Convenio entre la UPS y el Grupo Parlamentario de Población y Desarrollo Tránsito Amaguaña

On July 29th, UPS and the Inter-American Parliamentary Group of Population and Development «Transito Amaguaña (GPI) signed an agreement so that Social Communication students can carry out their pre professional practicums at this establishment.

The agreement will enable students to help in the production of the radio program «Sin Diferencias, derechos por igual» which is broadcasted on the National Assembly radio station. Students will host radio shows, conduct interviews, produce and administer virtual audiovisual channels, and control social networks.

The agreement was signed in Quito in presence of Maria Soledad Vela, assembly member and the president of GPI; Viviana Montalvo, UPS-Quito vice president; Lola Vasquez, director of the community involvement department; María del Carmen Ramírez, director of the Social Communication major; and Nelly Valbuena, director of student practicums.

The UPS- Quito Vice president said these actions truly benefit students and Maria Soledad added that this agreement will allow students to be in contact with the world and find new opportunities for society.
